Welcome to Home@21, Southwold's loveliest seaside home from home bed and breakfast - aptly named, because, it's also my own lovely Home.
A sea-facing 1895 Victorian Villa, offering comfortable and stylish en-suite rooms, all with Flatscreen Freeview TV, WiFi and hospitality trays.
Home@21 provides an idyllic seaside setting from which to explore our beautiful town and surrounding coastline.
Southwold has everything. Our award winning Pier, the Adnams Brewery, with its famous wines, beers and a distillery, producing world famous whisky, vodka and gin (Fascinating tours to be had too!) We have a range of lovely shops, good restaurants, tea rooms, tea huts on the prom and a stunning working harbour – my favourite part of Southwold. You’ll find the best fish and chips down at the harbour and an excellent upmarket fish restaurant The Sole Bay Fish Company, a visit is a must. There are also plenty of watering holes, serving proper pub grub that are worth a visit, The Red Lion, The Nelson, The Sole Bay and The Harbour Inn are all excellent.
Southwold is a veritable “time warp”, perfect for walking, cycling, golf, tennis, bird watching, kite flying, walking your dog or just chilling! There are numerous stunning walks for those who prefer to explore on foot. Walking and cycling enthusiasts alike will appreciate the uncongested roads, leafy lanes and cycle tracks/footpaths that abound throughout this lovely part of Suffolk.
Southwold is centrally situated for walking across to pretty Walberswick. Or to explore the sweeping sandy cliffs, heathland and forests of historic Dunwich, and the RSPB Minsmere Nature Reserve. Home@21 is a short drive from many pretty and historic destinations, including Aldeburgh, Snape Maltings, Henham Park (Latitude Festival), Orford, Woodbridge and Framlingham.
My motto is: Chill darlings, it’s Southwold!
